Phil, good point. I figured 1 quart was a little lean for bottom paint. I meant to type gallon
I won't be ordering paint for a couple weeks but you do make a good point about the paint keeping well for long periods of time with the cans unopened and the skinning stuff in place.

Peter, I have a merc 900 and want to do the same thing you are doing.
