The year is 1957, a 14 ft with windshield (I don't have model etc) powered by a 35 hp Johnson. I think the angle of the motor may be the issue. The condition of the hull is good. Just wondered if this is common...and when we go out in it I will try some different angles for the motor. Haven't launch...

Steering problems
Our Thompson (1957) seems difficult to steer especially in waves. Others have that experience or solutions?
