Well its time to put the Grady to bed for another year!..put a fan on the inside for a couple of days..inside garage...and used a screw jack on top of an old bathroom scale under the skeg on the gear case to support the motor on the transom!

Just brought home a 1963 grady white 17 1/2 hatteras..hull number B 6351T rough but doable...pics to follow

Gradys usually did not have the plank closest to the covering boards in stain and varnish...the ones I have seen are all painted.

Thanks Phill..used plexiglass and heated it in an oven to get the curves..kind of a resto mod thing..as the car guys say...no time at all to put it back original.

If the temp and humidity is up adding 2 to 5 perceht of thinner is usually the norm to keep it flowing well...if you are doing a deck or other wide area its better to thin a little than sand out lap marks.
