Ignition switch

I have a toggle switch above the ignition, and below that it says "ignition on". It only switches to the right. Below my ignition key it says "Engine Overheated". Last summer being the first for my scow and me, I puttered with the toggle switch and it does nothing. I can't rememb...

Anyone have an aftermarket tilt/trim on their boat?
I have a 69' 85hp Johnson with cable/pulley steering. I'm wondering if the 4"-6"set back on these will screw up my steering configuration.

I don't think these units "trim", they just tilt for shallow running. Although I've seen newer units tilt enough to improve speed/handling, I'm not sure if these older ones can be used at high speeds. I don't think I want a unit that sets the motor back (newer units), because of the increa...

I’ve found a couple of power tilts for my 69’ 85hp Johnson. One is original and looks it (couple hundred dollars.) The other is put together from new parts to fit this motor (eleven hundred dollars.)
