This is my color vinyl. Islander Turqua http://www.gulffabrics.com/islander.htm I am not changing the seats at this time and this will look very good. Window Molding.

No puddy is needed.Some soapy water can help with getting the new molding into the channel. You can make some releif cuts on the groves that go behind your curved sections. Put the gap in middle of the bottom.Again No Caulk!

What is the best thing to do as regards to adding a floor.I like seeing the ribs and varnish. But maybe some boards need to be added in the middle and in front by the seats? I had a 1958 Thompson that had a plywood painted green floor. That could of been added. But looked original. Any thoughts.... ...
