Pantone 306 Again

Since the Forum was evidently down for a period of time I'll try again to buy some left-over useable Pantone 306 paint for the parallelogram behind the Thompson nameplates. Anyone??

Pantone 306 Paint

Dear Fellow Thompsonites,

I need a small volume of Pantone 306 paint for the parallelogram behind the Thompson emblems on my 1963 Sea Lancer. I'd be happy to purchase someones left-over useable paint.

Thank you,

Look at Interlux 2000E which is a great water barrier coating used on many fiberglass boats before applying anti-fouling paint. 2000E WORKS GREAT ON WOOD for the same purpose. It's been in use for a number of years. For go fast sail boats that stay in the water, the choices are usually 2000E or VC-T...

Rub Rail

I have a 1963 Sea Lancer that I've been restoring. I have a roll of about 65+ ft. of brand new white rub rail material that is an exact duplicate. I would be happy to send you a sample piece and we can talk Off-line about the cost.

Thank you both for the information. When I said the restoration was complete, I meant the hull. Now the rest of the details. I'll use 3/8" marine ply and since I'm in that one year knowledge vacuum about floor covering, I'm covering it with nautalex.

Thanks again for the advise.

63 Sea Lancer Keel

Dear Docksiders, I finally have my Sea Lancer flipped over with the keel, keelson and garboards removed. They need repalcement. Ialso have a good handful of bad rib ends and the keelson knee is also suspect. The transom is very sound. The question I have is regarding the keel as it meets the transom...

Barrier Coat

I have used the Interlux 2000E primer numerous times on fiberglas sailboats that are docked or moored for the boating season. It is intended as a water barrier to prevent fiberglas blisters and act as the primer for finishes like VC17, VC Tar, Baltoplate, VC Offshore and a few others they make for a...
