Darrell, My last seacamper had the floors planked with 3.5 inch mahogany, that came from old door jambs. We planned them and stained and varnished. They were beautiful but a lot of maintence. My 20' seacamper has plywood floors about 7/16 thich but they too are kind of soft or plyable I should say, ...

Jim, I just finished a transom restoration on my 20' Cruisers Inc. It had several damaged inner vertical boards that were replaced. When I started fitting the oak cross brace I realized that the transom was bowed out about an inch and a half from center. This transom had a big Chyrsler and a bad cro...

Thanks Ron for looking. I got it apart today and eye does attach to all thread going to lifting ring base. The eye is a smaller eye than that lifting ring or ski tows.

I am still in need of this part if anyone has one

Ron, That is the lifting ring, I am looking for eye that you hook winch to to pull on trailer. The head of that might work if it will come off iron pipe. These units had that piece running vertical and a threaded rod running horizontal to the bow eye. I am looking for bow eye. Do your parts include ...

Rodney, I am amazed at what i have been able to produce varnishing with a foam roller and tipping brush. I feel like I have varnished acres of mahogany on this Seacamper restoration, this is the first project of this scale I have ever done. I sand any piece to 220 surface then stain and allow to dry...

Transom update, I have succesfully replaced two complete boards on inside starboard side. I scafed in surfaces on the next three planks where the oak cross brace goes. I made new vertical boards that support ski tow bolts and crossbrace. I epoxy all transom boards in place with stained epoxy and fil...
