How to wrap wiring
What is the best way to wrap the wiring from the dash to the motor? I was thinking about using heat shrink tubing but I believe wire loom is cheaper. Thanks for any ideas.

Switches on dash
Can someone tell me if most knobs on the switches (probably original 50's) were just pushed on from the front side of the dash? I would like to get my switch off and with a lock nut on the front side of the dash and a lock nut on the back side of the dash and no set screw to hold the knob on I think...

Winter Storage
Does anyone leave their boats out in the winter? I was thinking of having it bubble wrapped and left outside in the "Northern Wisconsin Winter". Thanks for any opinions.

Junction box location
I don't know what it is called but how close to the notch on top of the transom, that the motors sit in, can I mount the junction boxes. Seems that the only room is high up on the transom. Thanks for any help.

Flag Staff
Does the flag staff in the bow light/staff combination suppose to be loose or fit snug? Mine is so sloppy I think it will fall out when on the lake. What was used to keep them in place? Thanks for any help

Bilge Pumps
I need a bilge pump but which ones are the best. I see many GPH and discharge sizes. What are the prefered models? Online discriptions don't always list the height. Thanks for your help!

parts swap
Drive shaft and shift linkage are more than likely different. They have different part numbers on the 1957 35HP. AOMCI has a site for antique outboards, they know the specifics and the P/N.

Use of old varnish?
I have a pint can of varnish that I opened last year and started to use on my Cruisers Inc. It was stored in- doors all winter. Would a smart person start using this can again this year or open a new can? Thanks for any help!
