Prop cone - ?
I recently acquired a second outboard, a 1960 75 HP Johnson to complement my 1960 75 HP Evinrude. The cone that covers the propeller hub on the Johnson is 3-1/2 inches long, and the cone on the Evinrude is 2-1/2 inches long. The cones are interchangable between the two outboards. Question: How does ...

I need to paint mine also, although I never did find any evidence of it being on my 1960 Seacoaster. Seems like the other ones I have se...

I just pulled out my Pantone Matching System color book and matched the color on my boat.. The number that is the closest is... Pantone 306 ! That color is one shade lighter than straight Process Blue. Any good paint store will have this book...I am a printer that mixes ink everyday.... Ron P I pla...

Koolminx, Is the serial no. from the engine or the lower end? I think they were compatible between the two, and you could have a mixed unit. Dennis Evinrude can probably help you. Try getting in touch with him through the Antique Outboard Motor Club. I can give his phone number if that doesn't work....

Any of you guys from the home of Cruisers Inc. Wisconsin, know of any old local boat dealer / repair shops that might help me with bow ring? I am getting close to launch date on this boat and am getting desperate. I am almost finished sanding and prepping hull for final paint and awaiting chrome pa...

John, I'm convinced the seat back is original. The construction details on this seat are the same as on the front seat. Also, the original owner didn't modify anything on the boat, except adding a larger outboard. The top board on the seat back is slightly wider than the other two. I posted another ...

John,
Here's what the seat back of my 1959 SeaCoaster looks like. I can get you dimensions when the cover comes off in April.
