Hello, Ok Andreas gave me some good info on where to get my hull paint from, so hopefully someone can help me with this question. What color of stain did Thompson use on the maoganny decks on their 1930's boats?? Any suggestions of where to but it or how close to get to the original would be a great...

Where can I buy Thompson Sea Green hull paint?

Anyone know where I can buy the Sea Green color hull paint that Thompson used on their boats in the 30s??? Or a color chart for this color??

The Thompson that I have begun restoring has a replaced transom. It appears to be hard wood but not mahogany. Records show that my boat had a mahogany transom. no metal plate or any identifing numbers on the entire boat (went over everything witha black light) It is my understanding that the early Thompsons (pre 1940) did not have hull IDs.

Doe's any one have any pics or info on Thompson outboard boats from th 30s & 40s ?? What years did they make a cedar 13' 6" with a beam of 4'
Simalar to the 1928 V type sport Speedster and the 1930s TVB ??

Thanks for your help. Do you know of anyone that would have this boat? I really need some pictures showing the layout inside the boat. I think I may be missing some seat or bench parts.

Cortland Thompson pictures and measurements any ideas ???

Ok here is the measurements. It's 15' 3" from bow to stern and the beam is 66". Any idea what model this is ?? Any one have a picture of the finished boat they could send me ? thanks Tim

ok here's the boat size any ideas

Ok the pictures are inthe previous posting the boat size is as follows bow to stearn 15' 3" beam at widest point 66".I hope this helps. Does anyone have an idea what model this is ??

information on Thompson boat

I recently picked up a Thompson wood boat made in Cortland New York. I found the ID tag metal attached to the inside of the transom. It has a serial number of 54319 and says Thompson Sons Cortland New York. I'm assuming the 54 is the year would the 319 be the model?? I'm going to try to get some pic...
