The deck of your Grady White boat most likely had a crown to it originally. Your best bet is to remove the existing plywood and either make new, crowned deck beams or add shims to the existing deck beams. Then reapply the plywood (or put new plywood on her). I have a small stained and varnished mahogany floor trim in the 1957, 1958, 1959, 1961 Thompson Bros. Sea Lancer boats I have worked on. It is about 1 1/4 inches wide and 3/8 inches high.
