Looks very very similar to my Peshtigo Built '64 Super Lancer. Cargo bins and steering wheel look identical. Congrats!

Windshield

Would you be selling the entire windshield assembly? I have a '59 Seafarer in need of a windshield. I'd be in the market for parts, pics or even paper patterns with drawings etc. Let me know...

From D. Danenberg Book

Quick quote from Danenberg's book regarding types of mahoganies: School of hard knocks- The real skinny on mahoganies The true mahoganies are from the family Meliaceae and include the American mahoganies (Khaya sp.), and even the misnamed Spanish cedar (Cedrela odorata), which was apparently, very e...

Awesome Post!

Really like the low tech steamer. Danenberg's looked like the way to go but also seemed like a project in and of itself. Thanks for posting!

In need of a steering wheel

Looking for a period correct steering wheel/system (with pulley's and such) for a '59 Cruisers Inc Seafarer. It's a 16' boat. I'm keeping an eye on Ebay, CL, etc but any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Can you rebuild it? I just had a gasket blow out on mine (it's an outboard merc w/external trim/tilt pump) and it wasn't that tough to replace the o-rings & seals in it. I do understand that there are some components with high precision valves and gearing that cannot be rebuilt if they're bad. M...

1959 Cruisers Inc Seafarer 200

Hello all. I'm in the very early stages of attempting a restoration on a '59 Seafarer 200. The hull was delivered to me with all of the hardware, components, etc disassembled. So my first step is piecing this all back together ala jig saw puzzle so I can organize parts, take inventory , etc. Does an...

Thanks. You already gave me 59 Seafarer, based on dims & hull ID (earlier in thread), and she looks like that in the catalogue. I just thought the pictures would be good just in case there's anything else you might notice. She was sold to me as a '68. I've gotta have a new title created too and ...

Cruisers Pics...

Andreas, I finally went for it and took the plunge on this one. That way I can work on a boat and still have the Thompson to hit the lake with in the mean time. Here are some pictures of this possible '59. I'd like to be fairly sure of the year as I'm going to have a title created. Let me know what ...

Hull ID...

Andreas, This Cruisers Inc. hull ID appears to be, 911817. He thinks it's early 60's but I'm thinking '59? It's 15'6" in length with an approximate 71" beam. It does have an obc plate but I don't have those numbers at this time. I don't think there's a serial number plate or it's missing. ...

Thanks for the reply. Kind of figured as much but needed to hear it. This one is much smaller than my Super Lancer so it may be a bit easier for this first timer. It is a nice lookin' little boat. I'll let you know how it goes. I'll shoot over the hull ID stamp/dims when I get 'em; for your records....

Possible Barn Find

Hello All, I've come accross a nice little Cruisers Inc all dust covered out in a country barn- looks to be 13'-15' in length. The boat doesn't have a trailor. Currently it is sitting right side up on a cement floor leaning to port side (no support blocks or anything). He's moved it around every onc...
