1948 Runabout

Post by SJK »

I am restoring a 1948 Thompson Runabout built in Cortland N.Y. The boat was completely stripped of all paint. I am looking to resore it to the orginal colors using a good paint for a fresh water, trailered boat that will be only used for day trips. The most it would ever be used is 4 ot 5 days at any one time maybe once a year. Any help would sure help.

Thanks[/img]

wow - the first post of anybody else that owns a Cortland boat. I have a 1962 Cortland sea lancer. There is a CD that you can get that has alot of information on the Thompson boats. I'll scan mine and see if it has any info on such an early vintage.
