Anyone want my boat

Post by thegammas »

Thinking seriously about selling my Cortand Sea Lancer. Problem is (as is probably always the case) is I need/want to get a good bit of money for it, to try and recoup a as much of the 'way too much' I paid for it back in 2006. Or course, I've made that harder by having it in a state of dis-assembly. I think the one thing going for me is that in may area wood boats of this vintage (or in general really) are very few and far between.

Under the floors at the stem she needs a number of new frames, she leaks at the outer keel, needs new garboard panels at the turn of the stem. But the most work will be fixing a hook in the planning surface. I still have the front passenger seat (a flip seat). When I got it had a horrid trash pick vinyl swivel seat for the pilot which I removed and chucked.

So don't laugh, can I get 3.5K for it? Boat, Trailer, motor?
