Greetings from the Northwoods of Wi. I am a retired teacher who grew up in Oconomowoc around wooden boats in the 50 and 60"s and have done a 40 Chris and a Cruisers 262 which I regret selling. Now that I am retired I needed a new project so finally bought an old Thompson-serial # 12959 and hull #G81902V. 58 Sea Lancer? 58 Evinrude 50 with spare motor. I pick it up tomorrow. Will buy new tires on new rims and I think all new hubs. Need help with tire and hub size to buy. TeeNee trailer. I have to travel 400 miles after pickup so need a quick fix. Will post pictures soon. Thanks for your suggestions.

Welcome to the site Tom. I'm looking forward to seeing photos, especially of the '58 Evinrude 50 because I have one myself.

Glad that you found a project. You will love the Sea Lancer. Good choice.

I have not seen a Thompson that you said was available in Fond du lac ? Did you?
