Hello all,

I am new to this forum as well wooden boat ownership. I have owned a 12' flat bottom Jon boat for years that I take bass fishing when ever I can.
I have recently acquired what I believe is a Thompson 1962 Club Cruisette. The boat was listed on Craigslist here in Hudson Valley NY. Sitting for years under a ripped tarp wasting away. I had to have it !! I am looking for any Info. I can get as to restore her properly. She came without a motor but had a motor cover!! I am posting pics. If any one has any info. & or pics. of the same would be much appreciated. I am busting at the seams to start working on her but need to do as much research as I can before I turn that first screw.

Thank you all for reading and any help you can provide.

John K.

Welcome aboard John,

Hopefully anyone else that knows about a similar boat will chime in.

This is a boat made by Thompson Boat Company of New York, Inc., NOT by Thompson Bros. Boat Mfg. Co.

Hey Andreas,

Thank you for your reply.

Can anyone confirm .. this motor cover is from 1964. It seems to be the only one with similar markings..all black 5 star emblem.
