info on cruisers inc.

Post by rrush »

Hi: Well i found the serial number on the boat i just bought. I was told its a 17' cruisers inc model 1302 (says that on the dash) with a 4 cly volvo i/o. The serial number is 111397. I am looking for info on the vinyl decking, hull colors and stain and varnish recommendations. Also specs on this boat and sales info and pictures.
Any help would be great.

I also own a 60 17' penn yan with a 40 hp,

Welcome aboard. The hull ID probably indicates a 1961 model year boat. Model 1302 is the inboard/outboard Commander model. Without addtional information such as dimenions and pictures I cannot positively ID the boat.

Brochures which will have pictures and specifications can be obtained on the Thompson CD-ROM from Dan Miller at www.dragonflycanoe.com. I believe he sells the CD for $30.00. It is worth the investment.
