what,s the best trailer for wooden boat?

Post by youngin »

I'm trying to figure out if the trailer that came with the boat is the right one, and if not, can it be modified? we believe the boat is a 1957 cruiser's inc. 13' mariner. (although not 100% sure). pix will be available soon.
(as soon as i figure out how to post them!?:)

A trailer with longitundinal bunks is best for a wooden boat. They should be as long as possible. They should be situated close to the sister keelsons (or stringers). Rollers at the keel are fine.
