Outstanding Andreas! Thank you for the pics and History. I might end up out in WI on biz next spring - if i do a side trip is in order.

Maybe we of this forum can band together and buy the plant. Then, we bring out one of each model of boat that we have across the forum and take lines and measures and build new forms. Then, reopen and build new Thompsons! Of course, we'd have to use the Cortland design for hull construction with it's vented keel as it is, I am sure you would agree, far superior to that WI design..... :D
