MASS. help needed

Postby a j r » Fri Nov 17, 2006 2:20 pm

Hi all, I need help! Anyone near Springfield, Mass. is recruited to help with my Thompson Boat history research.

I just found evidence that in 1955 Thompson Bros. Boat Mfg. Co. of Peshtigo, WI had their all-fiberglass boats made for them by "PLA-TANK, INC. A Division of The Chemical Corporation" located at 54 Waltham Ave., Springfield, Mass. Mr. Edmund T. Manley was president. This is a huge revelation!

I want to find additional information of this and confirmation. Is there anyone in MA or nearby that wants to help me do some research in that area?

Get in touch with me directly at 612-823-3990 or via email: thompsonboat@msn.com

I am in Westminster MASS. I could possibly help with the research. Perhaps we could assist one another as I am in the process of researching a 1952 TVT 12-46 for my restoration. Let me know, Glenn
