More information about this Thompson

I am curious about my 15' 10" Thompson. My dad has told me it is a 1953, but I am curious if the hull ID and serial # coincide with his analysis.
The hull ID 81723 and the serial # is 12205. It is listed as a Pishago (sp) constructed Thompson. Could anyone give me some of the possible background on boats having these id numbers.
