yes Andreas we have comunicated in the past about a 1954 thompson tvt. the photo gallery i was refering to was on the lymam boatworks web site iwill try to post some pictures which web site would you prefer thanks phil

She does not look like any Thompson I have seen, either in person or in the brochures. Many of the details just do not look like a boat by Thompson Bros. Boat Mfg. Co.

You can check brochures on your own by purchasing them on a CD-ROM at www.dragonflycanoe.com or www.wcha.org

Could she be a White or Old Town? Both of these firms are best known for canoes, but they also made row boats and motor boats. Old Town brochures can also be purchased on CD-ROM from the two sources listed above.

The boat could date anywhere from the 1920s to the 1950s.

No idea who made the oarlocks.
