a couple of years ago i purchased, what was said to be a 1954 cruisers inc. i can't go off the word of the guy i bought it from, b/c everything else he told me was a lie. it is in storage, and i am about to start back with the restoration. i am wondering if i could get an ID on it from the hull number? it is "112635" the 11 or II are a little different than the 2635. they look like they are almost stamped in the wood, they just dont flow with the rest of the numbers. as for the OBC plate, it read the maximum horsepower is 50, and the max weight is 1035. if anyone could atleast give me their opinion, it would be greatly apreaciated.

My guess is that she's a 1961 Mariner.

Typically, the first NUMBER in the hull ID represents that last number of the model year. For example, 5 would be 1955 or 1965. You must use the boat's dimenions, constructon details, hull shape, and OBC ratings to narrow down 1955 or 1965. 1 would be 1961.

The OBC ratings of 50 HP and 1035 match the 1961 Mariner model, the little 14 footer.

Is it possible to send some photos? That would be helpful to verify things.

You can send photos directly to me if you like.
