Sea Camper ???

Post by Largewoody »

Is this a Sea Camper from Cruisers Inc.? It has the Cruisers Inc. emblem on the sides but the windows look different than other pictures I've seen of a Sea Camper. Does anyone recognize the model of this boat? Thanks, Largewoody.

Sorry for my multiple posts. I was having trouble linking in the reference to the pictures.

Looks like a 1960 Cruisers, Inc. Royal Commander model 370. Of course, a hull ID would verify the year.

The side windows in the cabin look like those pictured in the 1960 brochure. The white on the cabin roof also matches 1960. And 1960 was the first year Cruisers, Inc. used the wooden tear drop shape at the hullside logos.

You can purchase the brochures on the Thompson CD-ROM from www.wcha.org and www.dragonflycanoe.com

Andres,

Thank you for the information and especially for directing me to the site to purchase the Thompson Catalog archive on CD. It looks like a great resource and I ordered a copy today.
