I've been talking to Andreas about history but thought I would make a post to see what everyone else says.

I'd have to look again but I believe the Hull ID is 4120. Here are a few photos.

Thanks! That seems to be the year. 1964 model 4300 which i guess is under the "breakers" model list?

Model 4300 is the Breakers model. They used both a number and name for their models in 1964. In 1963 the Breakers is Model 3300.

Each model had a name and a number.

Does anyone know where I could find a sales brochure for this boat or possibly the 65 merc1000 motor?

Hey Nick,

The 1964 T & T Boats, Inc. brochure is avaialbel for sale on the Thompson Boat CD-ROM from www.dragonflycanoe.com and www.wcha.org. It also includes the 1962 and 1963 T & T brochures. Finding an original brochure is difficult. I have one but will not give it up.

Watch ebay for the Mercury outboard motor brochure. They come up fairly often.

Boat is a beauty, for sure!

Re: sales brochure, it's amazing what you can find on eBay. Check out this vintage full-page ad for my '57 Thompson. I got the SPORTS AFIELD magazine for a couple of bucks.

Found a photo taken in 1967 of our old 17' T&T The first owner replaced the front deck. The angle is quite bad it makes the deck look a lot shorter than it was. I do not know the year of the boat. I think the motor was a 1964 or 1965 50 hp Mercury, I think the original owner took off a 1965 or 1966 65 hp mercury before he sold it to my father. Boat was sold in '76 no way of telling now.
